Umaimon in Dusseldorf

Fast preparation of food, never got disappointed with my curry and I got it already a couple times. Friendly staff speaking Japanese, English and German. We went there with all sorts of friends and no one ever complained.

Not located in the hotspot, which in no way detracts from its popularity. Rightly, the Japanese soup tastes absolutely fantastic here too (try tantan ramen first, this is always my favorite).

Very good ramen restaurant. Somewhat remote from the typical Japan Mile in Düsseldorf. Still extremely tasty and fast food. Great service who also answered questions.

The ramen is the best you can buy, the curry and rice just taste great. This is my favorite restaurant. There is the best ramen! I can only recommend.

Unfortunately, the corona measures will last longer, so I was forced to order it home via Lieferando. For a takeaway it is quite expensive, because I don’t like the ambience and it also arrives lukewarm. Von Gontan, one of the other restaurants in this chain, the schnitzel tastes much better. I've already tried 4 of these Takumi and Co chains, but I've had schnitzel and chicken better elsewhere. Perhaps it is also due to the delivery that everything is no longer so fresh. But if you pay heavily on it because of the delivery, you want something in return. 23 € was both together. I'd rather wait until the measures are over and have done my part to keep the restaurant alive.

The worst restaurant in my life. Worst customer service. I don't want to add a single star. Two people came to the store and ordered a ramen and fried chicken set meal set. I didn't know if I could order a set meal at night, so I checked at the time of ordering and asked because it was possible to order. First of all, only the fried ramen and fried chicken set meal arrived. Couldn't I carry it all at once? I was waiting for rice, but there was no sign of bringing it. When I asked him if he had forgotten it, he said that he was cooking rice now, so wait a moment. I was surprised ... I'm waiting for it to be cooked soon, but it doesn't come even after 15 minutes. Other customers were also waiting for rice, and were urged and explained in the same way. The fried chicken is already cold. I'm sorry for the one who ordered the ramen, but I started eating it first and have already eaten it. About 30 minutes after the fried chicken arrived, the rice arrived. However, the rice was not freshly cooked, but was frozen and stored in Tupperware, then turned over and placed in a bowl. The rice is yellow as a whole, it is not steaming, and it is clear that the round shape of the tapper, which you can see that it was put in the tapper, was put on as it was. I couldn't say it on the spot, but the person who ate it said that the taste was not 100% freshly cooked. I was so amazed that I couldn't say anything and I didn't want to be here anymore. It was the worst I've ever eaten out. I won't go there again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Good rice! Absolutely the best rice you can ever get !! Curry tastes very, very good! This restaurant offers a wide variety of chickens and the chicken is very well cooked and after deep fried the chicken is not dry at all. A very, very good experience! We'll definitely be back.

Everything was great and delicious. Everything inside was clean and tidy, but the chairs were unfortunately a bit uncomfortable because they are completely made of wood and have no upholstery. Now in summer it was also air-conditioned. There is nothing to complain about in terms of price. Service also friendly and quick. However, you should come a little earlier because the few places are all quickly taken.

We had tried a lot of ramen soups so far, this was by far the best. The service was very friendly and the food was simply a dream. We can really recommend it. It was definitely not our last visit.

Very tasty and authentic food. Prepared quickly and freshly. There is not a lot of food, but everyone will find something they want to eat. The price is perfectly fine, easily accessible via public transport. Gladly again

The first ramen of my life. All very good. Including an exquisite fried chicken. Ramen excellent digestible and light but tasty. Prices ok. Small but human scale environment. Super nice staff. We'll be back.

Simply the best place for eating ramen or Katsu Curry. But not the best in Dusseldorf: the BEST.

My favourite Japanese place in Düsseldorf. It lies a bit in the outskirts but the food is worth the commuting (and the next stop is basically right in front of the building anyway). Since they use only chicken broth it's also an ideal place for Muslims to go.

Düsseldorf has the biggest Japanese minority of a German town and this is their favorite restaurant. There are lots of Japanese people here and they seem to enjoy the food. We enjoyed the food as well as it seemed to be very authentic and tasty. Their specialty is a noodle soup called "Ramen" which I strongly recommend. Only negative point was the open kitchen which makes your clothes stink after a visit.

Very friendly and super-attentive staff. The food is delicious and as far as I can judge from a German perspective, pretty authentic, as numerous Japanese are dining there, as well. I especially loved the Ramen, but everything tried so far was nothing less than really tasty. The air at high time is sticky with frying oil, so don’t wear your finest stitches out. Even my hair became kind of greasy after sitting for half an hour. The place is pretty small and could use at least 1.5 the size for the maximum numbers of customers. But nonetheless, the quick and friendly staff and just incredibly splurgy food makes this a “well oiled” Ramen-producing machine (pun intended ;)

Small place, cramped uncomfortable seating but really great food and service

Nice ramen gem in Heerdt - I much prefer coming here than the ramen places on Immermannstrasse. Here it's cozy and ramen doesn't taste like noodles just thrown into a bowl. The dishes here (incl. veggie ramen) are flavorful with the right amount of spice. Even the rice and edamame are reasons to make me happy. Staff is fast yet still friendly. Most times there are japanese families and/or business people here - i.m.o always a good sign. Street parking almost always available.

Tasty but Naniva is still better for me and is cheaper... Ramen around 10+ Eur , Curry w chicken (in the pic) 13,9 Eur.

Amazing place. The food is soooooo good. Sometimes you need to wait a bit, but it is worth the wait.

The curry rice here is really great, very authentic Japanese curry. Highly recommended. For the peak time in lunch the place is sometimes too hot because it is small and not air conditioned. Recommend for lunch anyways.

Nice & cosy place near the Prinzenallee stop. Staff is super efficient & friendly. Though it's small, it's not too noisy, conversations across the table are easily possible. I loved their Teriyaki curry & Tanmen Ramen so much that I was there 3 out of 4 nights!
